Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, IFNA7 RNA is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated IFNA7 data layer compared with 4 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where higher IFNA7 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated IFNA7 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
THCA, SKCM, and LUSC are the cancer types where IFNA7 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
