Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, IFNA16 RNA is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated IFNA16 data layer compared with 4 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in small cell lung cancer (SCLC), where higher IFNA16 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated IFNA16 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

SCLC, UCEC, and THYM are the cancer types where IFNA16 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
