Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, IFI44 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated IFI44 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher IFI44 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated IFI44 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and LUAD show a favorable association.
UCEC, OV, and BLCA are the cancer types where IFI44 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
