Across TCGA patient cohorts, HYKK mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 610 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible HYKK-associated genes across cancer lineages are MIR1225, MRPS18BP2, and SUMO2P5. Each is linked with HYKK in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both HYKK-to-partner and partner-to-HYKK results are reported.
