Across TCGA patient cohorts, HYDIN mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 93 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible HYDIN-associated genes across cancer lineages are Caveolin-1, NF-kB-p65_pS536, and PCNA. Each is linked with HYDIN in more than 4 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both HYDIN-to-partner and partner-to-HYDIN results are reported.
