Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, HTR5A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 11 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated HTR5A data layer compared with 14 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in thymoma (THYM), where higher HTR5A Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated HTR5A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and SKCM show a favorable association.
THYM, UCS, and ACC are the cancer types where HTR5A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
