Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, HTR5A-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 19 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated HTR5A-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher HTR5A-AS1 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated HTR5A-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as STAD and LGG show a favorable association.

UCEC, CESC, and KICH are the cancer types where HTR5A-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
