Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, HTR2C RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated HTR2C data layer compared with 14 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher HTR2C RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated HTR2C expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LGG and ESCA show a favorable association.

KIRC, READ, and ACC are the cancer types where HTR2C RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
