Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, HTR2C Mutation is linked to patient survival in 14 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated HTR2C data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher HTR2C Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated HTR2C expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and CESC show a favorable association.

HNSC, ACC, and READ are the cancer types where HTR2C Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
