Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, HTR1D Mutation is linked to patient survival in 8 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated HTR1D data layer compared with 29 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher HTR1D Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated HTR1D expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and BLCA show a favorable association.

KIRP, OV, and LUSC are the cancer types where HTR1D Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
