Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, HTR1A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 11 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated HTR1A data layer compared with 16 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in thymoma (THYM), where higher HTR1A Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated HTR1A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and LUSC show a favorable association.

THYM, OV, and SCLC are the cancer types where HTR1A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
