Across TCGA patient cohorts, HTR1A protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 2,317 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible HTR1A-associated genes across cancer lineages are PRODH, SLC16A8, and SEPTIN3. Each is linked with HTR1A in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both HTR1A-to-partner and partner-to-HTR1A results are reported.
