Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, HSPE1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 28 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated HSPE1 data layer compared with 2 for mutation status and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher HSPE1 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated HSPE1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as READ and BLCA show a favorable association.
ACC, UVM, and LIHC are the cancer types where HSPE1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
