Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, HSPA8P5 RNA is linked to patient survival in 24 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated HSPA8P5 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher HSPA8P5 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated HSPA8P5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as COAD and READ show a favorable association.

UVM, COAD, and READ are the cancer types where HSPA8P5 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
