Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, HSPA6 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated HSPA6 data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher HSPA6 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated HSPA6 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC, SARC, and LUAD are the cancer types where HSPA6 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
