Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, HSP90B2P RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 11 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of HSP90B2P’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where HSP90B2P RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types HSP90B2P is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as THCA and KIRP show the opposite, repressed pattern.

THCA, HNSC, and LUAD are the cancer types where HSP90B2P tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
