The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher HSD17B8 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated HSD17B8 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC, COAD, and SKCM are the cancer types where HSD17B8 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
