Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, HS1BP3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated HS1BP3 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher HS1BP3 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated HS1BP3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
HNSC, STAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where HS1BP3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
