Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, HPCA Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated HPCA data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher HPCA Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated HPCA expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
CESC, SARC, and STAD are the cancer types where HPCA Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
