Across TCGA cell cohorts, HOXD8 RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 2,708 significant associations in total. OESOPHAGUS shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible HOXD8-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Organelle transport along microtubule, Inorganic cation import across plasma membrane, and Inorganic ion import across plasma membrane. Each is linked with HOXD8 in more than 8 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both HOXD8-to-partner and partner-to-HOXD8 results are reported.
