Across TCGA cell cohorts, HOXC5 RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 2,380 significant associations in total. BREAST shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible HOXC5-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Transcription initiation at RNA polymerase II promoter, DNA-templated transcription initiation, and Negative regulation of hippocampal neuron apoptotic process. Each is linked with HOXC5 in more than 7 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both HOXC5-to-partner and partner-to-HOXC5 results are reported.
