Across TCGA patient cohorts, HOXA9 RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 7,125 significant associations in total. BRCA shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible HOXA9-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Embryonic skeletal system morphogenesis, Anterior/posterior pattern specification, and Proximal/distal pattern formation. Each is linked with HOXA9 in more than 19 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both HOXA9-to-partner and partner-to-HOXA9 results are reported.
