Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, HOXA11 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated HOXA11 data layer compared with 29 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher HOXA11 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated HOXA11 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC, LUSC, and LIHC are the cancer types where HOXA11 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
