Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, HOXA11-AS RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated HOXA11-AS data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher HOXA11-AS RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated HOXA11-AS expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as COAD and GBM show a favorable association.

KIRP, ACC, and MESO are the cancer types where HOXA11-AS RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
