Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, HNRNPA2B1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated HNRNPA2B1 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher HNRNPA2B1 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated HNRNPA2B1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and PDAC show a favorable association.
HNSC, LUAD, and PDAC are the cancer types where HNRNPA2B1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
