Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, HMGN2P31 RNA is linked to patient survival in 15 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated HMGN2P31 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher HMGN2P31 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated HMGN2P31 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and LUAD show a favorable association.

SKCM, UCEC, and KICH are the cancer types where HMGN2P31 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
