Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, HMGN1P33 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 1 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of HMGN1P33’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where HMGN1P33 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types HMGN1P33 is over-expressed in tumor.
UCEC are the cancer types where HMGN1P33 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
