HMGCS1

protein abundance — cross-omics
Cross-omicsPROTEIN-MS → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, HMGCS1 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 12,528 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible HMGCS1-associated genes across cancer lineages are SQLE, ACAT2, and IDI1. Each is linked with HMGCS1 in more than 8 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both HMGCS1-to-partner and partner-to-HMGCS1 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, HMGCS1 versus SQLE in OV, with a Pearson correlation of 0.46.

protein abundance associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (HMGCS1→partner) and Y-score (partner→HMGCS1) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
