HMGCS1

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → PROTEIN-RPPAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, HMGCS1 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 22 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible HMGCS1-associated genes across cancer lineages are Bad_pS112, 4E-BP1_pT37_T46, and HER2. Each is linked with HMGCS1 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both HMGCS1-to-partner and partner-to-HMGCS1 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, Bad_pS112 grouped by HMGCS1-low versus HMGCS1-high in UCEC.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (HMGCS1→partner) and Y-score (partner→HMGCS1) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
