HMGCS1

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNACell-linePairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA cell cohorts, HMGCS1 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 18 significant associations in total. LARGE_INTESTINE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible HMGCS1-associated genes across cancer lineages are MAGEB4, SAXO1, and CFAP161. Each is linked with HMGCS1 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both HMGCS1-to-partner and partner-to-HMGCS1 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, MAGEB4 grouped by HMGCS1-low versus HMGCS1-high in LARGE_INTESTINE.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (HMGCS1→partner) and Y-score (partner→HMGCS1) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
