HMGCR

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, HMGCR mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 2,832 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible HMGCR-associated genes across cancer lineages are TRBV8-2, PTPRJ, and TAOK2. Each is linked with HMGCR in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both HMGCR-to-partner and partner-to-HMGCR results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, TRBV8-2 grouped by HMGCR-low versus HMGCR-high in COAD.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (HMGCR→partner) and Y-score (partner→HMGCR) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
