HMGCR

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNACell-linePairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA cell cohorts, HMGCR mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 122 significant associations in total. LARGE_INTESTINE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible HMGCR-associated genes across cancer lineages are HMGB4, JOSD1, and MIOX. Each is linked with HMGCR in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both HMGCR-to-partner and partner-to-HMGCR results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, HMGB4 grouped by HMGCR-low versus HMGCR-high in OESOPHAGUS.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (HMGCR→partner) and Y-score (partner→HMGCR) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
