Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, HMGB3P9 RNA is linked to patient survival in 16 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated HMGB3P9 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in pancreatic adenocarcinoma (PAAD), where higher HMGB3P9 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated HMGB3P9 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CHOL and STAD show a favorable association.

PAAD, KICH, and KIRC are the cancer types where HMGB3P9 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
