Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, HMGB3P14 RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated HMGB3P14 data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher HMGB3P14 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated HMGB3P14 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and ACC show a favorable association.
UVM, CESC, and KIRC are the cancer types where HMGB3P14 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
