Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, HMGB3P12 RNA is linked to patient survival in 10 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated HMGB3P12 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher HMGB3P12 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated HMGB3P12 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as OV show a favorable association.

COAD, ACC, and READ are the cancer types where HMGB3P12 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
