Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, HMGB1P15 RNA is linked to patient survival in 11 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated HMGB1P15 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher HMGB1P15 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated HMGB1P15 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and ESCA show a favorable association.

UCEC, STAD, and BRCA are the cancer types where HMGB1P15 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
