Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, HMGA2-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 24 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated HMGA2-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher HMGA2-AS1 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated HMGA2-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCS and THCA show a favorable association.

KIRC, UCS, and BLCA are the cancer types where HMGA2-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
