Across TCGA cell cohorts, HMBOX1 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 2 significant associations in total. LARGE_INTESTINE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible HMBOX1-associated genes across cancer lineages are BPIFB6 and LCE1D. Each is linked with HMBOX1 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both HMBOX1-to-partner and partner-to-HMBOX1 results are reported.
