Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, HLTF mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated HLTF data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher HLTF mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated HLTF expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and PDAC show a favorable association.
CCRCC, HNSC, and LUAD are the cancer types where HLTF mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
