Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, HLA-DRB5 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated HLA-DRB5 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in prostate adenocarcinoma (PRAD), where higher HLA-DRB5 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated HLA-DRB5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
PRAD are the cancer types where HLA-DRB5 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
