Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, HLA-DPA3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated HLA-DPA3 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher HLA-DPA3 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated HLA-DPA3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

HNSC and SKCM are the cancer types where HLA-DPA3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
