Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, HIPK1-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 26 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated HIPK1-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher HIPK1-AS1 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated HIPK1-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CHOL and PAAD show a favorable association.

KIRC, CHOL, and PAAD are the cancer types where HIPK1-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
