Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, HIP1R Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated HIP1R data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher HIP1R Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated HIP1R expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as STAD and SKCM show a favorable association.
BRCA, UCEC, and STAD are the cancer types where HIP1R Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
