Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, HIGD1AP16 RNA is linked to patient survival in 20 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated HIGD1AP16 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher HIGD1AP16 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated HIGD1AP16 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PAAD and BRCA show a favorable association.

CESC, ACC, and CHOL are the cancer types where HIGD1AP16 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
