Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, HHATL-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 18 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated HHATL-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in mesothelioma (MESO), where higher HHATL-AS1 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated HHATL-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as MESO and KIRP show a favorable association.

MESO, KIRP, and CESC are the cancer types where HHATL-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
