Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, HELLPAR Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated HELLPAR data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher HELLPAR Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated HELLPAR expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SKCM and LUAD are the cancer types where HELLPAR Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
