Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, HEBP2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated HEBP2 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in pheochromocytoma and paraganglioma (PCPG), where higher HEBP2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated HEBP2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
PCPG are the cancer types where HEBP2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
