Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, HCRT RNA is linked to patient survival in 19 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated HCRT data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in rectum adenocarcinoma (READ), where higher HCRT RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated HCRT expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as READ and COAD show a favorable association.
READ, COAD, and LGG are the cancer types where HCRT RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
