HBB

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, HBB mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 697 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible HBB-associated genes across cancer lineages are CMC4, KATNBL1P2, and CGB2. Each is linked with HBB in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both HBB-to-partner and partner-to-HBB results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, CMC4 grouped by HBB-low versus HBB-high in UCEC.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (HBB→partner) and Y-score (partner→HBB) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
