Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, HAPLN4 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 10 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated HAPLN4 data layer compared with 11 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in small cell lung cancer (SCLC), where higher HAPLN4 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated HAPLN4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

SCLC, OV, and KICH are the cancer types where HAPLN4 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
